Ok. I will explain in detail. With economy couriers if there is tracking, the tracking updates are done sparingly at key points in the journey. On a premium courier (such, as Fedex, UPS, DPD etc), they will track the parcel when collected, then when unloaded/reloading on to a lorry before going to the next depot, then when its sorted. Basically at each stage whenever anything happens to the parcel, sometimes even in the same building. There is often a few tracking updates on the same day.

The premium courier typically also owns the planes it will fly on and can scan the barcodes to update the tracking as the parcels get on and off the planes

But on a economy courier such as landmark global the tracking is less frequent. For example the parcel is not tracked when its collected from us and only tracked once on a conveyor belt at the depot a day later.

It is completely normal for a large gap in the tracking updates. This is when the parcel is either awaiting transportation (awaiting a flight) or is currently being transported. The economy couriers do not own their planes and there is likely to be waits for the next available cargo space on a passenger flight. The parcels are grouped together and put on pallets and sealed up then taken to the airport to await a flight. It can't be tracking during this process or during the flight. Indeed it can't even be tracked after the plane has landed. The pallet will need to first travel to a depot which could be a few days away. Furthermore once it arrives there maybe a backlog of the parcels/pallets to processed. It is fairly normal for a pallet/parcel to sit around waiting to be processed. Then once processed there will be another tracking update.

Hence the sometimes long waits for a tracking updates with economy couriers.
